Methodology and limitations

Prepared by: Join Judaism editorial desk. Dataset version 1.0.

  1. Only provider-owned or official movement course pages accessible on August 3, 2026 were used.
  2. The advertised non-member individual price was used where multiple prices appeared. Required extras are reported as caveats when the page disclosed them.
  3. Session count means advertised classes, not elapsed conversion time. A course certificate does not itself confer Jewish status.
  4. Ended 2025–2026 cohorts were retained as historical observations and are labeled. They should not be treated as current offers.
  5. The sample is descriptive, not representative. It excludes programs without a public price and cannot support movement-wide conclusions.

Before choosing a program

Price and class count do not tell you whether a program fits your rabbi, recognition needs, schedule or accessibility requirements.
