2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:
- Email address: collected when you purchase or request a magic login link. Used solely to authenticate you and send transactional emails.
- Payment data: processed entirely by Stripe. We never store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe may store a customer record associated with your email address.
- Usage data (Google Analytics 4): if you consent, we collect anonymized page views and session data via GA4 to understand how visitors use the site. IP addresses are anonymized. No personally identifiable data is sent to Google Analytics.
- Cookies: we set functional cookies to manage your login session (
access_all,access_since) and daily usage limits (quiz_count,quiz_date,hebrew_count,hebrew_date). See our Cookie Policy for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Authenticate you via magic link email
- Grant access to the platform features you purchased
- Deliver the PDF ebook you purchased
- Send transactional emails (magic links, purchase confirmations)
- Improve the platform based on anonymized analytics
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Join Judaism service.
4. Data Sharing
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate our platform:
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com)
- Vercel — hosting and edge functions (vercel.com)
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics (if consented)
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies (GA4) if you choose to accept them. You can manage cookie preferences at any time. See our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
Your email address is retained as long as your account is active. If you purchased access, we retain a minimal purchase record for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@tweener.io.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- California residents (CCPA): the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our platform uses httpOnly, Secure, SameSite cookies to prevent session hijacking. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled exclusively via time-limited magic links.
9. Children
Join Judaism is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
